Photochrome Adventures: Fort Point
PHOTOCHROME ADVENTURES Number 5 field trip for 2013 is set for Saturday 17 August 2013 at historic Fort Point under the South end of the Golden Gate Bridge. Admission is free.
There will be a slightly different time configuration this time. To take advantage of the weather, the ever present fog and hopefully some afternoon sun light there will be two photography segments.
The morning shoot meet up time will be at 10:30 am at the main entrance to Fort Point with the photographing time from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Afterwards we will meet for the show and tell and refreshments at 1 pm at the Chestnut Street Coffee Roastery at 2331 Chestnut Street just off Scott Street in the Marina district. It is a short drive from the Fort to the Marina.
The second shoot meet up time will be 3pm at the main entrance to Fort Point. Photo time will be from 3 to 5.pm +- with the show and tell meet up at 5:30 pm again at the Roastery. You can of course attend either or both of the photo shoots.

The Fort Point area is loaded with photo ops not only of the Fort but of the Golden Gate Bridge above the Fort, the Bay and views of the City. Bring a tripod and dress warmly.
Here are directions to Fort Point by car. By bus take the MUNI 28 bus either from the the outer Richmond district along 19th Avenue or in the Marina along Lombard Street. That bus goes to the Golden Gate Bridge South end toll plaza and you then can walk down a path and steps and along Long Avenue and Marine Drive to Fort Point.
We shall see you all Saturday 17 August 2013 at 10:30 am and / or 3 pm at Fort Point for PHOTOCHROME ADVENTURES Number 5 field trip for 2013.
