Photochrome Camera Club

San Francisco Photography Club: Established 1942

Archive for May, 2009

Pat Morales, longtime member and past president of Photochrome, died May 14. After joining the club, Pat quickly moved up through the camera club rankings to the Masters level and won many awards at Photochrome and N4C. She was a world traveler and wowed us with her images of the mud men of Papua New Guinea and the polar bears of Churchill; but is also remembered for creating lovely pictorial and creative images. Even though she was no longer able to attend club meetings in recent years, she still enjoyed getting the Color News and keeping track of what the club was doing, and was always eager to catch up on the latest club gossip. Pat was a good friend of Photochrome and a good friend of mine, and I will miss her.

The judge for the evening will pick “favorites” for display on our website. As usual, two images per person may be entered.

Also as usual, there will be a “PicTwo” from the latest Field Trip. Will we see a lighthouse or two?
