Let’s go where there’s no fog!
I have arranged an unofficial guided tour for a limited number of Photochrome club members. Let me know if you are interested by writing to gelarsen@comcast.net.
Time: Time of travel is about one hour. We should arrive by 10:00 AM.
We will visit the wine production area of the Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma County. The guide will accompany us to photograph grape harvesting and wine making which includes sorting tables and cellars where wooden barrels of wine are aged. We can also drive to the vineyard fields and maybe capture dazzling fall colors starting to appear on the foliage. Let’s also visit the beautiful historic stone press house to shoot a few photos. Shaded picnic grounds and restrooms are available for our use. Car pooling is encouraged. If you have room in your car for other members, please let me know.
Our Pictwo images will be presented at the November 5th meeting with critiques.
