You can meet up with others at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 678 Portola Drive.  See this map for directions to the church. We will leave the church parking lot at 12:00 PM Noon.The lighthouse gate opens at 12:30 PM and closes at 3:30 PM giving us plenty of time to work the lighthouse. If you want to meet us at the lighthouse, we’ll meet at the trail head near the parking lot where the Lighthouse sign is.

What: The lighthouse was built in 1877, making the building a very interesting subject inside and out. The seaside rocks and cliffs are also very nice. The path down to the lighthouse may present something interesting. There is also a tunnel we must walk through. Colorful moss growing on the rocks might catch your eye. What about the plants or even birds found in the area?

Directions: See map. Take Hwy 101 northbound across the Golden Gate Bridge.
• Exit Alexander Avenue; bear right.
• Follow Alexander Avenue 0.2-miles; turn left onto Bunker Road.
• On Bunker Road, pass through one way Baker-BarryTunnel.
• Follow Bunker Road 3-miles; turn left on Field Road.
• Follow Field Road 0.8-miles to Point Bonita parking lot and trailhead.
• Walk the 0.5-mile trail to the lighthouse.
