Read a SF Chronicle Story about the Playground.
Bounded by Alameny Boulevard on one side, BART and I-280 on the other, and at the end of two dead-end streets there lies a little San Francisco gem: Cayuga Playground.
While this little park has kiddy swings & slides, tennis courts and a softball field, it also has folk art, hidden gardens, hand-crafted benches and small surprises everywhere.
Join us on Saturday, March 1, at 10:00, with your camera to try for your interpretation of this lovely hidden garden. Perhaps we’ll find lunch and other photographic opportunities later on our first Field Trip of the year.
From Lilaguide.com: [Cayuga]Playground itself has old equipment, but the grounds have FABULOUS mini trails that make you think you’re on a hike in the woods until you look up and see a BART train passing by. …”
